Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, architects, and senior developers to refine complex user stories, establish precise acceptance criteria, and influence design for testability and quality.
• Architect and evolve a comprehensive automated testing framework, incorporating data-driven, performance, and visual validation approaches across multiple platforms.
• Lead root cause analysis of critical defects, mentor engineers in best practices for defect prevention, and ensure robust resolution tracking.
• Drive end-to-end test coverage, including edge cases and failure modes.
• Champion integration of testing within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless automation and continuous quality gates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in QA automation for complex, data-intensive, and web-based enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing data-driven testing strategies, with deep proficiency in automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, with experience in debugging and contributing to application code.
• Solid expertise in REST API testing and automation, with the ability to validate end-to-end integrations.
