As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be integral in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires passionate and experienced QA professionals who are creative and enthusiastic.
Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: Full-time, 4 days a week in office & 1 day from home; remote work from any country for 30 days a year; unlimited vacation days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand functional, technical, and design specifications for accurate testing.
- Provide reliable testing estimates for project planning and timelines.
- Facilitate test plan and test case reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Execute, evaluate, and maintain both manual and automated test cases, documenting results clearly.
- Lead bug triage meetings to prioritize and resolve defects efficiently.
- Participate in root cause analysis and validate that deliverables meet customer quality expectations.
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies and advocate for continuous improvement in testing practices.
- Perform thorough testing of mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software testing and QA.
- ISTQB - CTFL certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of QA/Testing processes, including SDLC and STLC.
- Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and practices, including Agile, Kanban, UAT, and API testing.
- Practical experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Postman.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.
Desirable Skills:
- Interest in AI-driven testing tools and awareness of shift-left testing principles.
