Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support the development and establishment of the new management system.
- Partner with Functional Process Subject Matter Experts to drive major Quality Systems initiatives.
- Identify and collaborate with Quality Directors to resolve complex issues with broader implications.
- Ensure quality reporting from the system through QC system attribute management for the documents.
- Assist in withdrawing legacy practices from existing systems alongside Functional Process Subject Matter Experts.
- Administer training for new team members.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and enforcement of company document templates for the development or revision of documents.
- Interface with Functional Process Subject Matter Experts and provide advice on best practices for document creation and organization.
- Report and track progress as per the execution plan and Management requests.
- Maintain strong and consistent communication within and across functions, effectively persuading staff to adopt quality management methods.
- Plan, develop, write, and edit engineering and company procedures and related documents.
- Analyze documents to ensure continuity in content style and suggest modifications for clarity.
- Manage updates and revisions to technical literature, performing quality checks focusing on grammar, sentence structure, and spelling.
- Prepare and review procedures and work instructions.
- Provide support for project bids related to quality upon request.
- Conduct internal and external audits according to the plan, reporting timely results.
- Oversee the KPI, QI, and Performance Quality process, conduct trend analysis, and facilitate groundwork documentation for benchmarking and lessons learned.
- Analyze trends and measured data to aid in setting targets, planning, and establishing actionable improvement plans with compliant follow-ups.
- Lead and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality-related issues.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
- 8+ years of related industry experience in EPC construction or fabrication.
- Ability to function effectively as both a team member and a team leader.
- Adaptability to meet organizational demands in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills for data evaluation.
- Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various departments.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft programs: Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Attention to detail and proficient in prioritization and multitasking.
- Capability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for various audiences.
- Document Management knowledge is a plus.
- Comfort in managing diverse variables in minimally standardized situations.
- Strong grasp of Lean/Continuous Improvement principles and practices.
- Preferred: ISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, or equivalent Quality Management Systems Internal Auditor training.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into simplified written and visual instructions or training material, incorporating stakeholder feedback for improvement.
- Strong capacity to communicate across all organizational levels and summarize complex technical situations effectively.
Successful candidates will need to provide a degree equivalency certificate issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). If this is not already available, candidates are advised to initiate the process promptly to avoid delays in the offer and onboarding.
