We’re hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help us ship a large-scale Analytics Data Platform composed of multiple services, including data ingestion and processing pipelines, analytics APIs, web applications, and GenAI-powered features. You will ensure that the platform remains reliable, fast, and trustworthy as it grows. This role treats test automation as a software engineering discipline, where you will design and build frameworks across services and integrate them into CI/CD processes. Collaboration with developers, data engineers, and product teams will be key to maintaining an efficient feedback loop.

Location: Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and own automation frameworks across API, UI, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Write production-grade test code that is respected by engineers.
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to reduce feedback loop time.
- Contribute to test environments and test data management.
- Improve shift-left practices in testing.
- Utilize AI agents and assistants in daily work.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years in software QA, with at least 3 years of experience writing and maintaining production-grade test automation code.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience with modern automation frameworks and API testing.
- Fluency in CI/CD tools and Docker.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Preference:
- Experience with big data/analytics testing and performance testing for AI workloads.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Desired Attributes:
- An engineer's mindset focused on solving root causes of issues.
- Curiosity about AI and agentic systems.
- Comfort with ambiguity and non-deterministic testing scenarios.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English for effective communication.
