You will be part of our Quality Engineering team, which ensures software quality across the entire customer journey, from ticket booking to ancillary services and the operation of our airplanes. We utilize widely recognized frameworks and programming languages such as Java, C, and Python, as well as innovative technologies essential for application development, testing, and deployment. This role includes implementing CI/CD pipelines and following DevSecOps practices to enhance the customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project members, architects, and software engineers to understand technical landscapes and delivery contexts.
- Work closely with product owners to provide early feedback on potential risks in product requirements and design.
- Ensure availability of non-production environments and test data to support testing activities.
- Manage testing of cross-dependencies with other release train teams.
- Configure test tools accurately to support metrics collection for dashboards.
- Support software engineers in writing and maintaining automated functional tests through continuous integration.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks and test harnesses for robust end-to-end testing.
- Facilitate adherence to Quality Gate requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering roles within a digital or e-commerce environment.
- Experience as a Software Quality Engineering Lead or equivalent, overseeing multiple products.
- Proficiency in developing UI and API automation frameworks with languages such as Java, Python, and others.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, JUnit, and CI tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong expertise in exploratory testing and context-driven testing methodologies.
