You will employ a suite of testing tools and methodologies utilizing widely used frameworks and programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, along with innovative technologies essential for application development, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project members, architects, and software engineers to understand the technical landscape and the context of deliveries to translate complex functional and non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with product owners to provide early feedback on any foreseen risks in the product requirements and design.
- Liaise with other release train teams to manage the testing of cross dependencies.
- Support and guide Software Engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests through continuous integration.
- Implement, maintain, and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses to ensure robust end-to-end tests.
Requirements
- 3 years in Information Technology Degree or Honours or equivalent in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Experience in quality engineering roles within a digital or ecommerce environment.
- Test Automation experience with commercial or open-source tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience with developing UI and API automation frameworks and being familiar with common programming and scripting languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Experience using SCM and CI tools, for example, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
