Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements, technical details, and design effective test strategies.
- Design automation frameworks, write automation test cases, execute, and maintain pipelines.
- Execute QA activities on platform services and apply knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
- Manage test efforts effectively, ensuring timely delivery under tight release deadlines.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and provide accurate effort estimations.
- Debug microservice architecture to analyze errors and bugs.
- Communicate effectively and exhibit strong collaboration, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or advanced certifications preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in software test engineering and test automation with CI/CD experience.
- Strong experience in testing web applications, backend APIs, and native mobile applications.
- Hands-on coding experience with automated testing frameworks (preferably Playwright with Python; Selenium/Appium also applicable).
- Experience with Python-based frameworks like PyTest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (preferably Bitbucket or Git).
- Competence in database querying and writing fundamental SQL queries.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and AI tools and technologies.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience in using testing frameworks like PyTest, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Competence in test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, QMetry, JIRA).
- Familiarity with SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements and performance engineering with tools like Python Locust.
