Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be directly responsible for the test engineering activities across the Core42 generative AI enablement and data sovereignty platform. The role involves ensuring robust test plans are in place while considering both functional and non-functional aspects, focusing on test coverage and hands-on automation experience in conjunction with robust CI/CD implementation. The position requires close collaboration with stakeholders in an agile environment and transparent test status reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and technical details, and design effective test strategies and scenarios.
• Design automation framework, write automation test cases, execute tests, and maintain the pipelines.
• Manage test efforts effectively to ensure timely delivery under tight release deadlines.
• Actively participate in all agile ceremonies, providing effective effort estimates.
• Debug issues and analyze errors and bugs within a microservice architecture.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong collaboration, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications / Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or advanced certifications are preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in software test engineering and test automation with CI/CD experience.
• Proficiency in testing web applications, backend APIs, and native mobile applications using both functional and open-source automation tools.
• Hands-on coding experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Playwright with Python; experience with Selenium or Appium is also applicable.
• Familiarity with API testing using libraries such as Requests (Python) or Rest Assured (Java).
• Experience in testing Python-based frameworks, specifically PyTest or TestNG.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Bitbucket or GIT.
• Experience using test management tools and API testing tools, such as JIRA and Postman.
• Ability to query databases and write fundamental SQL queries.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
