Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and technical details, and design effective test strategies and scenarios.
- Design automation framework, write automation test cases, execute tests, and maintain the pipelines.
- Manage test efforts effectively to ensure timely delivery under tight release deadlines.
- Actively participate in all agile ceremonies, providing effective effort estimates.
- Debug issues and analyze errors and bugs within a microservice architecture.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong collaboration, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or advanced certifications are preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in software test engineering and test automation with CI/CD experience.
- Proficiency in testing web applications, backend APIs, and native mobile applications using both functional and open-source automation tools.
- Hands-on coding experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Playwright with Python; experience with Selenium or Appium is also applicable.
- Familiarity with API testing using libraries such as Requests (Python) or Rest Assured (Java).
- Experience in testing Python-based frameworks, specifically PyTest or TestNG.
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Bitbucket or GIT.
- Experience using test management tools and API testing tools, such as JIRA and Postman.
- Ability to query databases and write fundamental SQL queries.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
