This role involves tasks including software design, source code development, review and control, configuration management, and software integration. The engineer participates in a wide range of quality assurance testing and analyses to ensure that the product meets or exceeds specified quality standards and end-user requirements before release. Working collaboratively in a team setting, this position requires proficiency in programming languages relevant to the organization. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer must anticipate problems in the development process and develop effective solutions to address them and prevent re-occurrence.

Responsibilities
- Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the problems.
- Ensure products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
- Support the product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
- Identify root causes of problems in the production process and recommend and/or implement corrective measures.
- Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence, and vigilance within departmental/unit activities and operations.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
Years & Nature of Experience
- 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience demonstrating required competencies.
- Experience as a specialist individual contributor or a team lead who has managed and delivered projects.
- Skills in team or technical supervision.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience with complex technical activities.
- Experience working with more senior staff on complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, or internal relationships.
