Senior Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of all assigned Estimator(s), Material and Process; and Controller(s), Document.
• Work closely with the design & modelling and SIL engineers to ensure that all phases of the customer cycle, from early customer involvement through post-delivery support, meet or exceed requirements.
• Provide independent evaluation of technical reviews to ensure acceptable technical rigor is applied to the process.
• Provide leadership and support for continuous improvement activities, determining quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to the manufacturing process.
• Develop test methods, procedures, and quality provisions for technical data packages.
• Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error.
• Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) and Change Control Board (CCB).
• Establish statistical reliability using mean time before failure, Weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliability modelling, and reliability demonstration tests.
• Develop experiments by applying full and fractional techniques.
• Develop sampling plans using attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
• Analyze data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.
• Ensure seamless hand-off during product transition to production (Production Readiness Review [PRR]).
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, then making recommendations.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
• Comply with applicable contractual obligations and established AL TAIF Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
• Support other members of the Engineering Department in fulfilling their roles.
• Perform other duties as required by the Senior Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics, Electrics, Software, or other related fields required; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of five to six years of experience working in product quality is required; experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
• A minimum of five to six years of experience supervising and/or managing a team is preferred.
• Previous military experience is an advantage.
• Experience working on multiple discipline projects using structured analysis principles and methods is an advantage.
• High proficiency in all automotive system electrical designs is advantageous.
• Understanding of system design standards, policies, precedents, and authorized or alternative approaches is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and CMMS is preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid UAE driver’s license.
