Your Future Role
- Automate and streamline data preparation and cleaning workflows
- Build, enhance, and support quantitative research and trading frameworks
- Productionise trading strategies developed by Quantitative Researchers
- Develop tools and systems that address evolving research and trading requirements
- Improve software engineering practices across research workflows, including code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Extend and improve the software platform in response to changing business and research requirements
Your Present Skillset
- 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- High standards for code quality, testing, and software development practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with Quantitative Researchers and Portfolio Managers
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in financial markets or machine learning is beneficial
