Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys using electronic distance-measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
- Manage land-information computer systems, including storing data, making inquiries, and producing plots and reports.
- Review survey team information to measure distances, directions, angles, and elevations of points, lines, and contours, as well as the topography of the area.
- Research legal records, identify evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze relevant data to determine boundary line locations.
- Accurately record survey results, verify data accuracy, and prepare detailed plots, maps, and reports.
- Work on diverse problems within the area of expertise, leveraging a full understanding of the specialization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in surveying and strong knowledge of the latest surveying technologies.
- Full understanding of data management in land-information systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documenting results.
