Skills Requirement:

  • Experience with banking products (Retail, personal, Wealth) regulations, processes, and procedures.
  • Knowledge in GL reconciliations for Cards, Deposits, Loans, Cash, Bank, Vault, Clearing, Settlement, A/R, A/P, Suspense accounts, Payments.
  • Understanding of Intercompany, Intergroup, and Interbranch reconciliations.
  • Accounting knowledge, including recording journal entries and understanding financial impacts.
  • Ability to identify transformation, consolidation, and automation opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and interact with relevant stakeholders for understanding the overall landscape.
  • Address system-related issues with stakeholders.
  • Understand control reports and publish them to stakeholders.
  • Set up performance baselines and define SLA/KPI metrics.
  • Monitor, track, and report on performance against service level goals and benchmarks.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for business-driven initiatives and projects.
  • Gather critical information from meetings and produce useful reports.
  • Work closely with SMEs, change and governance, technology, and operational leads to drive changes.
  • Conduct governance calls for aged/high-value exceptions and establish appropriate timelines for resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance Department to ensure policies and procedures are implemented for reconciliation.
  • Implement a control framework for continuous assessment and mitigation of operational risks.
