Job Purpose:
Maintain good relationships with Commercial clients, and assist Relationship Managers in keeping successful, optimal business with them.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Process renewals and new credit proposals, as well as excess and isolated requests for existing customers in a timely and professional manner, with minimal involvement from the Relationship Manager.
- Ensure timely and accurate credit administration through the completion of annual reviews and regular monitoring of financials, covenants, and other parameters within the review cycle.
- Handle customer queries proficiently and provide appropriate solutions to enhance customer satisfaction levels.
- Analyze and evaluate information provided by customers, such as project reports, feasibility reports, balance sheets, and cash flows, to structure credit lines while balancing risk and reward.
- Establish good liaison with customers for day-to-day banking requirements and professionally manage security documentation requirements.
- Maintain effective and professional internal and external communication to ensure turnaround time is within designated parameters and client satisfaction levels are enhanced.
- Conduct customer visits whenever required for business needs.
- Monitor the development and progress of Commercial deals and ensure quick action in case of any adverse development.
- Comply with internal audit requirements in line with policy guidelines to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank.
- Monitor early warning signs of account deterioration and help maintain high asset quality.
Service and Quality:
- Ensure professional quality of credit proposals and internal/external communication in line with defined policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong autonomy and the ability to work independently of the Relationship Manager.
- Process excess and isolated requests for existing customers within defined turnaround time.
- Handle customer queries proficiently and provide appropriate solutions to enhance customer satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management/Administration.
- 3-4 years of experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking in the capacity of credit analyst or relationship officer, with exposure to Corporate Banking in the UAE.
