Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to the UAE Air Force, representing the company at senior levels including Air Force leadership and MOD
- Build strong customer relationships and align UAE AF operational needs with the company capabilities
- Lead engagement with UAE AF, U.S. Embassy, and internal SBUs as the voice of the customer
- Develop and support marketing strategies, engagement plans, and growth opportunities
- Coordinate across SBUs and functions to deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions
- Serve as the main POC for customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong communication
- Drive collaboration across the enterprise to enhance performance, execution, and pipeline growth
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, engineering) or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 10 years in Business Development of Defense Sales; an Advanced Degree coupled with a minimum of 7 years experience is also acceptable.
- Comprehensive understanding of the regional defense industrial base, geopolitical environment, and local cultural customs.
- Capability to leverage customer knowledge and market insights to support the identification of growth opportunities in the UAE.
- Experience in developing and executing business growth strategies, program management, and product line oversight.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with proven effectiveness across internal and external teams.
- Capability to support integrated solutions and cross-functional business initiatives.
- Working knowledge of international business practices and compliance requirements, including FCPA and ITAR, along with familiarity with international contracts like FMS and DCS, and host country regulations.
- Fluent in Arabic, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.
