Senior Research Engineer

As a Senior Research Engineer, you will be responsible for building AI systems capable of performing previously improbable tasks and achieving unprecedented levels of performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance implementations of deep learning algorithms.
• Work within large distributed systems.
• Provide a technical perspective to develop machine learning best practices and influence the engineering culture of the team.
• Have in-depth knowledge of how machine learning systems interact with surrounding systems.
• Evaluate trade-offs of different ML models/systems and deploy best practices.
• Engage in Data/Feature Engineering, Training, Evaluation, and Deployment of ML models.

Qualifications:

• Experience running small-scale machine learning experiments.
• Strong understanding of system performance and a knack for simplifying complexity while minimizing maintenance burdens.
• Proficient in software engineering, particularly with Python.
• Comfortable collaborating with researchers to develop next-generation models.
