Senior Revenue Management Analyst

About the role
The company is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Revenue Management - Systems and Science team as a Senior Revenue Management Analyst, based in Doha, Qatar.
As a Senior Revenue Management Analyst, you will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of commercial data products, managing stakeholder relationships, and collaborating closely with the data engineering team. You will prioritize Product Backlog Items (PBI) for the development team, maintaining a clear vision of the business values of data products. Your role includes supporting the implementation of the company Network Revenue Strategy, ensuring data availability for all business users, and communicating frequently with key stakeholders to drive focus on opportunities while providing insights on key performance indicators.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

• Enable and enhance commercial data availability for business analysis by working closely with Data Engineering teams on a daily basis. Actively participate in testing data products and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of commercial data and daily reporting to stakeholders across the commercial segments, including the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs), Vice Presidents (VPs), and other senior management teams.
• Collaborate closely with Agile Product-Oriented Delivery (POD) teams to ensure that development teams clearly understand the intended business outcomes of commercial data products. Facilitate informed decision-making, proactively address implementation challenges, and support successful delivery.
• Perform commercial data analysis and generate actionable insights, particularly related to PNR bookings, revenue performance, and ad hoc business requests. Support the development of commercial strategies, business plans, and initiatives aimed at optimizing passenger revenue.
• Drive effective communication of commercial data deliverables, enhancements, and updates across business functions, including Revenue Management, RM Operations, Loyalty, Regional CBIs, Global Sales, Revenue Accounting, and Corporate Planning to ensure stakeholders maintain a common understanding of data definitions, reporting logic, and business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of commercial data products, business objectives, value realization, and ROI measurement to ensure data initiatives remain aligned with strategic business goals.
• Support Data Protection related SAR requests and provide customer-related information to authorized users or the Data Protection Officer (DPO) / team in QR head office.
• Coach and mentor Data Analysts in data product testing, data analysis, and business outcome assessment. Foster analytical thinking and business acumen to enable the team to deliver greater value as part of the Commercial Data & Analytics function.
• Demonstrate the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business narratives and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences across commercial and corporate functions. Use data storytelling techniques to influence decision-making and drive business actions.
• Build stakeholder confidence by aligning delivery expectations with business priorities, ensuring that solutions are delivered efficiently while maintaining data integrity, reliability, and business value.

About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Relevant College or University qualification to a minimum of bachelor’s level in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analysis, insights and collaborating with development teams.
• Experience in Agile Scrum is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management.
• Robust strategic thinking and ability to explain the business objectives and requirements to the agile development team.
• Must have basic SQL skills.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Alteryx is a plus.
• Experience in collaborating with multicultural teams and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Understanding Cloud Computing and familiarity with data platforms such as Azure and GCP are added advantages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
