Senior Risk Analyst

Join the company's Risk Management team and play a key role in strengthening the bank's credit risk analytics and modelling capabilities. As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will support the development, monitoring, and enhancement of credit risk models, portfolio analytics, and decision-making frameworks that help drive sound risk management across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain model-ready datasets by sourcing, cleansing, and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Support the development, testing, recalibration, and monitoring of credit risk models and scorecards.
• Perform portfolio monitoring, segmentation, trend analysis, and risk assessments.
• Build and automate reports, dashboards, and monitoring frameworks for key risk indicators.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify emerging risks and business opportunities.
• Support model governance activities, including documentation, validation evidence, and regulatory submissions.
• Research and evaluate new analytical techniques, machine learning methodologies, and data sources to improve risk analytics capabilities.

Requirements:

• UAE National with a strong interest in Risk Analytics, Data Science, and Financial Services.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in analytics, data science, or risk analytics.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and analytical methodologies.
• Exposure to banking, fintech, or financial services is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable insights.
