Senior Robotics Engineer

The Senior Robotics Engineer will design and develop intelligent robotic systems using AI and perception technologies. Candidates should have strong programming skills in C++ and Python, experience with robotics frameworks like ROS, and knowledge of SLAM and LiDAR systems. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate perception systems using computer vision, deep learning, and multimodal sensing.
• Design algorithms for state estimation, localization, and mapping (e.g., SLAM, visual-inertial odometry).
• Implement control strategies from PID and adaptive controllers to Model Predictive Control (MPC).
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time execution on CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for robotics and AI development.
• Hands-on experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2.
• Practical knowledge of SLAM and LiDAR-based perception systems.
• Experience deploying reinforcement learning algorithms in simulation and on real robots.
• Familiarity with cloud-based robotics platforms (e.g., AWS RoboMaker, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud Robotics).
