Senior SAP PP/QM & MES Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP PP/QM & MES Consultant with 10 to 15 years of extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate must possess strong functional leadership in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains, backed by multiple end-to-end implementation projects with proven capability to drive digital transformation and operational excellence across large-scale manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP PP (Production Planning):

  • Lead requirement gathering, solution design, and end-to-end implementation for complex manufacturing environments.
  • Configure advanced PP components: Work Centers, Routing, BOMs, Demand Management, MRP, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control.
  • Manage discrete, repetitive, and process manufacturing business scenarios.
  • Optimize MRP runs, supply-demand planning, long-term capacity planning, and resource optimization.
  • Ensure strong business alignment through integration with MM, SD, CO, PM, and EWM.

• SAP QM (Quality Management):

  • Architect and manage QM processes across procurement, in-process, and final inspection.
  • Design and implement CAPA, audit management, non-conformance handling, complaints processing, and quality certificates.
  • Drive proactive quality compliance through integration with PP, MM, SD, and MES.

• MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems):

  • Lead MES implementations (e.g., SAP ME, SAP MII, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or equivalent).
  • Integrate SAP PP/QM with MES for real-time production execution, performance monitoring (OEE), WIP tracking, labor management.
  • Collaborate with automation and IoT teams for enhanced manufacturing visibility and predictive analytics.

• Cross-Domain Manufacturing & Supply Chain Leadership:

  • Act as a functional bridge between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Warehouse Operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and Industry 4.0 methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in SAP PP/QM with strong MES exposure.
• Minimum of 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects, including at least one in S/4HANA.
• Strong integration experience with MM, SD, WM/EWM, CO, PM, and PP-PI.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP PP/QM certifications (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori apps, IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma / APICS CPIM / CSCP is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / MBA
