Senior SCCM/MECM Engineer – Application Packaging & Software Distribution

We are seeking a Senior SCCM/MECM Engineer specializing in Application Packaging and Software Distribution at DXC Technology. The ideal candidate will have superior knowledge in MECM/SCCM (1611/1706/1806/2107) and experience with tools such as DXCCAE, Service Now, and incident management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of patch management, including ADR, O365, and Windows updates.
• Manage Windows updates, in-place upgrades, PXE, MDTO, and operating system concepts.
• Lead application deployment and monitoring, server upgrades, as well as backup and restore operations.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Intune Modern Management, including device management for Android, iPhone, and Mac.
• Monitor compliance, passcode policies, and device OS breakup in Intune MDM Console.
• Implement cloud gateways and manage hybrid technology for MDM and modern Windows device management.
• Document architecture and engineering processes, including low/high-level design and deployment strategies.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) with at least 5-7 years in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and/or Intune.
• Proficient with Microsoft Intune architecture, planning, deployment, and management in hybrid enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Windows 10, Group Policy Configuration, and Application Packaging.
• Experience in compliance policy implementations and role-based access control.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Azure, and Windows servers is a plus.
• Strong communication skills capable of representing the company in global meetings and forums.
