Key Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture Design: Define and implement secure-by-design cloud architectures that align with industry best practices and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security standards. Design secure hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Security Strategy & Governance: Develop cloud security strategies that align with the organization's risk appetite and regulatory obligations. Contribute to security policies, standards, and governance models.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Map cloud environments to regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NCA, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and gap analyses.
- Security Operations & Tools: Design cloud-native security monitoring, detection, and response strategies. Integrate SIEM/SOAR solutions and threat intelligence into cloud environments. Support incident response plans and vulnerability management.
Technologies & Tools:
- Cloud Security Platforms: Google Cloud Security Command Center, Chronicle, AWS GuardDuty, Azure Defender
- SIEM & Monitoring: Chronicle, Splunk, Azure Sentinel, ELK Stack
- IAM & Access Control: Google IAM, Beyond Corp, Okta, Active Directory
- Security Toolsets: CSPM, CWPP, vulnerability scanners, encryption solutions
Certifications:
- Required: Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer
- Preferred: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- Additional Advantage: CCSP, AWS/Azure Security Specializations, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
