Your Challenges and Mission
- Be the guardian of our digital assets: Play a crucial role in protecting Deriv’s assets and our clients’ trust by staying vigilant, anticipating potential threats, and ensuring our systems are resilient.
- Lead the charge in DevSecOps: Collaborate with teams to champion a “security-first” mindset, integrating security as a natural part of how we build and empowering teams to create secure products from the start.
- Champion CI/CD security: Implement security measures within our CI/CD pipelines to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into our development workflow.
- Ensure our systems are rock solid: Conduct comprehensive security reviews of all new and updated systems, platforms, and applications, maintaining the highest standards of protection.
- Safeguard our financial ecosystem: Ensure the security and integrity of our payment systems, protect clients’ financial transactions, and build a robust security framework.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Keep informed about emerging threats and technologies to ensure Deriv’s security measures are always up-to-date and effective.
Requirements
- 10+ years in information security, focusing on cloud security, security architecture & design, and DevSecOps.
- Proven success in designing secure architectures for large-scale, cloud-native applications.
- Deep understanding of security best practices across various layers.
- Expertise in securing payment systems and financial industry compliance.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong coding and security process automation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
