Your Challenges and Mission:
- Be the guardian of our digital assets, playing a crucial role in protecting Deriv’s assets and our clients’ trust by staying vigilant and anticipating potential threats.
- Lead the charge in DevSecOps by collaborating with teams across Deriv to champion a “security-first” mindset and empowering our teams to create secure products from the start.
- Champion CI/CD security by implementing security measures within our CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration into our development workflow.
- Ensure our systems are rock solid by maintaining the highest standards of protection via comprehensive security reviews of all new and updated systems, platforms, and applications.
- Safeguard our financial ecosystem by ensuring the security and integrity of our payment systems, protecting clients’ financial transactions, and building a robust security framework.
- Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about emerging threats and technologies, ensuring Deriv’s security measures are always up-to-date and effective.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in information security, focused on cloud security, security architecture & design, and DevSecOps.
- Proven success in designing secure architectures for large-scale, cloud-native applications.
- Deep understanding of security best practices across various layers.
- Expertise in securing payment systems and financial industry compliance.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong coding and security process automation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
