Senior Security Architect

About the Job
As a Senior Security Architect at Emirates NBD, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security posture of the organization's core banking and payment systems. This position requires a deep understanding of conducting Data Classification and Asset Valuation activities, as well as experience in implementing robust security practices such as Threat Modeling, Application Security, and Infrastructure Security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Data Classification and Asset Valuation activities.
• Execute Threat Modeling using preferred frameworks.
• Ensure Application Security compliance with standards like OWASP Top 10 and similar frameworks, including API and Mobile Security.
• Oversee Infrastructure Security across diverse environments including Containers, Virtual Machines, Databases, and critical interfaces.
• Collaborate with peer architects, tech leads, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive security requirements and solutions.
• Develop and promote security standards, patterns, and best practices within the organization.
• Create security-focused presentations tailored to senior technical and business leaders.
• Influence security design to minimize risks before product releases.

Key Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of technology experience in Core Banking and Payment System domains.
• Proven experience in securing Core Banking and Payment solutions and their ecosystems.
• In-depth knowledge of implementing encryption controls and other security measures.
• Familiarity with global and regional regulatory requirements relevant to banking (e.g., PCI-DSS).
• Knowledge of API Security Standards and data management practices specific to core banking.
• Understanding of transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Familiarity with at least one core banking system such as Temenos, Finacle, or Flexcube.
