Position

We are seeking a Saudi national for the position of Senior Security Consultant - Proactive Services at Fortinet. This dynamic and exciting role reports to the Director of our FortiGuard Security Consulting Services. As a hands-on customer-facing consultant, the primary objective is to deliver Fortinet's proactive consulting services, ensuring clients are better prepared for cyber security incidents.

The consultant will leverage their skills and experience in delivering security assessments and incident response. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading customer-facing proactive services engagements.
  • Delivering tabletop exercises to customers.
  • Performing readiness assessments of customers' security posture and Incident Response Plans.
  • Assisting in the development of customer Incident Response Plans and playbooks.
  • Focusing on the maturation of proactive services.
  • Delivering response training to customers.
  • Staying current with cyber security compliance, standards, and framework revisions, including NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS, PCI, HIPAA, etc.
  • Reviewing current security programs and defining necessary steps for compliance.
  • Developing comprehensive and informative reports and presentations for both executive and technical audiences.

Required Skills:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience interfacing with customers.
  • Experience in building and delivering tabletop exercises.
  • Knowledge of multiple cyber security compliance frameworks and standards.
  • Familiarity with incident response playbooks and vulnerability assessments.
  • Ability to assess and implement various security controls.
  • Understanding of incident response processes and tools.
  • Experience in delivering educational services and trainings.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and endpoint security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or
  • 5+ years of experience with cyber security assessments and incident response.
