The consultant will leverage their skills and experience in delivering security assessments and incident response. Responsibilities include:
- Leading customer-facing proactive services engagements.
- Delivering tabletop exercises to customers.
- Performing readiness assessments of customers' security posture and Incident Response Plans.
- Assisting in the development of customer Incident Response Plans and playbooks.
- Focusing on the maturation of proactive services.
- Delivering response training to customers.
- Staying current with cyber security compliance, standards, and framework revisions, including NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS, PCI, HIPAA, etc.
- Reviewing current security programs and defining necessary steps for compliance.
- Developing comprehensive and informative reports and presentations for both executive and technical audiences.
Required Skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience interfacing with customers.
- Experience in building and delivering tabletop exercises.
- Knowledge of multiple cyber security compliance frameworks and standards.
- Familiarity with incident response playbooks and vulnerability assessments.
- Ability to assess and implement various security controls.
- Understanding of incident response processes and tools.
- Experience in delivering educational services and trainings.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and endpoint security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or
- 5+ years of experience with cyber security assessments and incident response.
