About the Job
The Senior Security Consultant is an expert level role, responsible for translating clients’ cybersecurity requirements and customising and implementing security solutions into specific systems, applications, and product designs. This role identifies and develops security solutions for clients using company products, outsourced technology solutions, and technical tools. The consultant will consult with clients regarding secure product configuration, deployment, and security patches to minimise vulnerabilities.

In addition, this position provides comprehensive scanning, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, monitoring services, and source code analysis, delivering detailed results to clients. The consultant will guide and support clients in the development and implementation of product security controls.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on information security practices, ensuring alignment with best practices, standards, and regulations.
• Develop and enhance cybersecurity strategies for clients, including Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS).
• Ensure clients’ cybersecurity frameworks meet regulatory or industry requirements.
• Perform assessments and deliver designs against cybersecurity controls, frameworks, and best practices.
• Develop Cyber resiliency Risk Management methodologies and lead risk management engagements, identifying and remediating risk and compliance gaps.
• Plan and implement cybersecurity projects - technically and organizationally.
• Support the sales team by helping to expand business with existing clients and building new business.
• Support internal or external client events to address the range of services offered by cybersecurity and its portfolio.
• Participate in infrastructure and application project teams providing consultation on information security architectures.
• Travel as required (can be up to 50% at times).

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

• Serve as the primary contact for the leadership team at our clients for new requirements or questions in the area of cybersecurity.
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Manage medium-sized teams and/or work efforts at a client or within NTT DATA.
• Apply knowledge and experience to external clients as cybersecurity advisory services.
• Drive security architecture conversations with clients regarding cybersecurity assurance and operations.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Industry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GSEC, or CompTIA Security+.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity consulting experience.
• Experienced in Cloud Security Projects and Cloud Security Concepts.
• Proven experience in leading projects, managing resources, timelines, ensuring quality, and tracking budgets.
• Demonstrated track record in sales origination and implementing security strategy engagements.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in the Information Technology Security Industry or similar roles.
• Proficiency in security architecture design principles.
• Extensive knowledge of industry compliance and standards such as ISO 27000, PCI:DSS, NIST, HIPAA, SAMA, NCA, etc.
• Advanced experience with security tools and techniques, covering SANS Top 25, OWASP, etc.
• Experience working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies.
