Senior Security Engineer

About the job DSRC team designs security technologies to drive solutions to difficult security problems from a Academic and industry perspective. As a senior researcher, you will be a Offsec leader and key contributor in building security tools and systems to effectively solve real-life problems. You will work closely with the Software and Systems team to deliver new theories, algorithms, applications, and proof-of-concepts. This position is physically located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Description

• Conduct cutting-edge applied research / industry experience in the field of Red Teaming, Penetration testing, Exploitation development.
• Participate in the development of Binary Fuzzing systems, Exploitation development, Root Cause Analysis.
• Self-Motivated, Team spirit and being able to articulate research plans on the nominated projects, whilst committing towards achievements, and deliveries of the objectives of the project.
• Contribute to technology transfers through the implementation of the research findings into proof of concept (PoC) according to the research needs.
• Collaborate with our ecosystem partners internally and externally around the world to achieve the center’s goals.
• Create Patents to generate Intellectual Property (IP) and secure the deployment and commercialization of solutions.
• Publish research papers in top journals and conferences.

Qualifications To qualify for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• A Master or PhD degree with focus/experience in Computer Science, Physics, computational mathematics.
• Experience in vulnerability Analysis, exploit development, Static and Dynamic analysis.
• Knowledge in cryptographic architecture (design and analysis), Hardware Security, Privacy Preserving technology.
• GDPR, ISO27001, PCI/DSS, NIST, FIPS.
• OSEP, OSCP, CRTP
• Experience in academic publication development.
• A good track record in testbed implementation and proof concepts (PoCs).
