Position

The company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer responsible for the creation of procedures, implementation of process development, and maintenance of security systems across internal and client environments. The Security Engineer will collaborate closely with Management, Senior Engineers, Threat Analysts, Solution Architects, other Security Engineers, and clients to deliver high-profile, critical services to existing Managed Security Service clients.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Act as SME of DDoS & Firewall technologies for the company customers.
  • Design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IP Networks and interconnected Network Security technologies.
  • Provide timely responses to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
  • Manage escalated incidents and consult with other technology support groups for problem resolution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10+ years demonstrable industry experience.
  • Network Operations/Security Operations experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Complex IP Networks and Network Security technologies.
  • Solid understanding of data center traffic flow and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in high-pressure, customer-facing environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL change management, problem management, and incident management.
  • Understanding of common services (web, mail, FTP, DNS, etc.), network vulnerabilities, and attack patterns.
  • Experience with security controls: Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Antimalware, Two-factor Authentication, Sandboxing, Virtual Private Networks, Firewall Rules Auditing.
  • Excellent communication, listening, customer service, and teambuilding skills.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
