Responsibilities:
- Act as SME of DDoS & Firewall technologies for the company customers.
- Design, deploy, operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IP Networks and interconnected Network Security technologies.
- Provide timely responses to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
- Manage escalated incidents and consult with other technology support groups for problem resolution.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years demonstrable industry experience.
- Network Operations/Security Operations experience.
- Expert knowledge of Complex IP Networks and Network Security technologies.
- Solid understanding of data center traffic flow and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in high-pressure, customer-facing environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL change management, problem management, and incident management.
- Understanding of common services (web, mail, FTP, DNS, etc.), network vulnerabilities, and attack patterns.
- Experience with security controls: Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Antimalware, Two-factor Authentication, Sandboxing, Virtual Private Networks, Firewall Rules Auditing.
- Excellent communication, listening, customer service, and teambuilding skills.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
