Position

The company is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Security Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, SIEM, and Vulnerability management to join the managed security controls team. This position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing security monitoring frameworks, enhancing detection logic, and ensuring continuous visibility across cloud environments. Strong expertise in Microsoft Sentinel, Qualys VMDR, KQL, and Azure security analytics is essential, along with the ability to support additional tools such as Microsoft Defender and DLP platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as SME for Azure Sentinel and Qualys VM.
  • Develop custom detection rules, analytics, workbooks, and automations.
  • Lead vulnerability lifecycle operations across servers, endpoints, and cloud workloads.
  • Perform threat hunting and correlation using KQL.
  • Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams for remediation.
  • Support SOC team with escalated incidents.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in SIEM engineering and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to create and optimize advanced detection logic.
  • Hands-on experience with Qualys scanning profiles, reports, dashboards.
  • Understanding of attacker techniques and cloud threat models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with strong change and incident management practices.
