In the role of Senior Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and integrating security controls in cloud-native environments and AI-powered systems. You will ensure that secure-by-design principles are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle and play a crucial part in defining, piloting, and implementing system architectures that automate security processes across all phases of solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments, threat hunts, code and logs reviews, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and drive continuous monitoring improvements.
- Design, implement, optimize, and monitor security controls and tooling to enhance security across endpoints, infrastructure, and application CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage incident response for security events, from detection through containment and remediation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC and raise security awareness.
- Participate in customer-facing discussions as a trusted security point of contact.
- Support compliance initiatives and customer security requirements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in information security, preferably with a focus on application or infrastructure security.
- Strong understanding of security principles and architectures, along with hands-on experience in building, testing, and deploying security solutions.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and strong experience with core security tools (SIEM, IAM, SAST/DAST).
- Proficient with scripting or programming, preferably in Python, for automation and security tooling.
- Familiarity with security within the SDLC and exposure to AI and agentic systems is a plus.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP) are beneficial, but hands-on experience is more crucial.
