As a Senior Security Engineer at the company, you will act as an on-site cyber security expert responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise and industrial network security architectures. Your roles will include deploying and supporting FortiGate Firewalls with HA, VDOMs, IPS, AV, SSL inspection, and VPNs. You will also configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) using FMC.

Key responsibilities include:
- Advanced troubleshooting across routing, switching, and security layers.
- Supporting LAN/WAN networks using Cisco and multi-vendor platforms.
- Implementing VLANs, trunking, STP, HSRP/VRRP, and multicast where required.
- Securing Operational Technology (OT) environments including SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial networks.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and network outages.
- Conducting firewall rule reviews, audits, and optimization.
- Collaborating with IT, OT, SOC, and application teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls, FortiNAC, and Cisco FTD & FMC.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and zero-trust concepts.
- Experience working in OT/industrial environments is mandatory or highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Certifications Preferred:
- Fortinet: NSE 4 / NSE 5 / NSE 7 (or FCP / FCSS)
- Cisco: CCNP Security / CCIE (Security or Enterprise)
- OT Security: GICSP, IEC 62443 certification (preferred)
- ITIL Foundation (nice to have)
