Senior Security Engineer

About the Job:
The company is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Cortex XDR. This role requires an individual who can step into complex environments and deliver immediate value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert-level proficiency in Cortex XDR (Palo Alto Endpoint) is essential and non-negotiable.
• Ideally, strong experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM; however, senior-level proficiency in Splunk or another enterprise SIEM is also acceptable.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, guide clients, and translate complex security concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong background in incident detection, investigation, and response, with the capability to quickly assess threats and drive remediation.
• Experience in designing, tuning, and optimizing detection logic, playbooks, and automation workflows.
• Ability to perform environment assessments, identify gaps, and propose strategic improvements.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, threat hunting methodologies, and SOC operations.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
• A proactive and structured consultant’s mindset, capable of quickly adapting with minimal onboarding.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams and client security leaders.
