The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for administering and managing security technologies and services, which include Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), TrendMicro XDR, Proxy technologies, and vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Tenable Security Center). The Engineer will create procedures, implement process development, and maintain security systems across client environments. Collaborating closely with Management, Senior Engineers, Threat Analysts, Solution Architects, and clients, the Engineer will deliver high-profile, critical services to existing Managed Security Service clients. This position will encompass the administration, maintenance, and integration of NDR, EDR, and Tenable security platforms, along with operational technical analysis, assessments, and recommendations regarding real-time security, operational network & identity management systems, and application systems security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support Nessus scan engines, Tenable Security Center, and related vulnerability scanning infrastructure.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Firewall (Palo Alto, FortiGate), Web Proxy, and WAF systems, including configuration, tuning, optimization, patching, and backups.
- Lead vulnerability remediation aligned with SLAs and compliance requirements.
- Manage and maintain TrendMicro XDR sensors, including deployment, updates, and threat detection.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and incident analysis, working with SOC, Threat Intelligence, and IR teams.
- Coordinate ticketing workflows and resolve client issues as the primary point of contact for Managed Security Services (MSS).
- Monitor system performance, provide service reports, and coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in managing and administering security solutions in large enterprises.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience with MVA, NGFWs, EDR, NDR, Web Proxy, and related technologies.
- Extensive knowledge in XDR (TrendMicro), NDR, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure information protection technologies and a degree or equivalent experience in Device Managed Services or client network environments.
- Familiarity with SIEM security products (Splunk, ArcSight, Nitro, LogRhythm) and OS knowledge (Linux and Windows).
- Shift flexibility, including after-hours support when required.
