- Providing timely responses to incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
- Designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs).
- Configuring and administering Panorama for centralized management.
- Deploying and managing GlobalProtect VPN (remote access and site-to-site).
- Implementing and optimizing Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and DNS Security.
- Managing WildFire for advanced malware detection and analysis.
- Configuring Application Control (App-ID), User-ID, and Content-ID policies.
- Performing traffic analysis, threat hunting, and incident response.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Collaborating with SOC teams and supporting incident investigations.
- Providing L2/L3 support and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Handling escalated incidents effectively and supporting operational needs to ensure minimal downtime for critical services.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of complex IP networks with at least 8+ years of industry experience in network/security engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with the full security stack of Palo Alto Networks.
- Expertise in NGFW deployment and management, Panorama centralized management, and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN via GlobalProtect).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as PCNSE (preferred), CISSP/CISM (added advantage), and familiarity with Cortex XDR (EDR) and XSOAR/XSIAM.
