The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation of procedures, process development, and maintenance of security systems across client environments. You will work closely with Management, Senior Engineers, Threat Analysts, Solution Architects, and clients to deliver critical services to existing Managed Security Service clients.

This position requires the administration, maintenance, and integration of technologies such as Splunk, MS Azure Sentinel, Sentinel UEBA, AIP, Defender, CASB, ATA/ATP, and Intune. Your role will involve technical engineering, assessment, and recommendations in the areas of real-time security, operational network & identity management systems, and application systems security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support solutions using SIEM and Microsoft security technologies.
- Implement & administer Microsoft Defender, Azure Cloud Access Security Broker, and Azure Threat Protection security products within customer environments.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the Azure IP platform ensuring adherence to project execution methodologies and quality assurance.
- Assess customer needs, design solutions, and implement designs.
- Act as a primary responder for Managed Security customer systems, managing configuration issues until resolution.
Qualifications & Skills:
- College degree or equivalent training in a related field with experience in a Security Operations Center, Managed Security, or client network environment.
- Minimum of 5 years for Security Engineer and 7-8 years for Senior Security Engineer, supporting and maintaining Splunk and Azure M365 Systems.
- Experience with Splunk, Azure M365 & MS cloud security is essential.
- Familiarity with Use cases creation, Content development on Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk SIEM.
- Knowledge of integration tools, data connectors for Microsoft Sentinel, and other SIEM security products.
- Experience with networks, network architecture, and various security technologies including EDR products.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems is advantageous.
