As the first dedicated security hire, you will play a pivotal role in building and shaping our cybersecurity strategy and practices. Responsibilities include:
- Security Strategy & Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive security roadmap that aligns with business strategy.
- Security Architecture: Design and manage security architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
- Policies & Standards: Develop and improve security policies and best practices across the organization.
- Risk & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts and perform post-mortem analyses.
- Security Testing: Conduct penetration testing and compliance assessments.
- Security Tooling: Deploy and manage security solutions such as SIEM, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security.
- AI & Data Security: Develop security measures for AI models and data protections.
- Training & Awareness: Conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Proven experience in security architecture, engineering, and operations in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Hands-on experience with security tools (firewalls, SIEM, EDR).
- Expertise in incident response and forensic investigations.
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is essential.
