About the Job:
The Physical Security System and Technology Team falls under the physical security department of Corporate Services. Its core responsibility is to leverage technological means to guard against security risks within the workplace. The team undertakes the daily operation, maintenance, and upgrade of global physical security and prevention systems (such as Lenel, Hikvision, Avigilon, etc.) and is also responsible for the management and maintenance of physical security-related data.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users, document system issues, analyze and identify root causes, recommend solutions, fix issues, and provide status updates to users, along with periodic incident reports to management.
- Experienced with SQL database open connectivity development and able to provide guidance to internal R&D team members on the integration between internally developed applications and security systems.
- Coordinate with security system vendors to ensure outstanding issues raised by internal R&D teams are addressed in a timely manner. Document issues and provide status updates to management on a regular basis.
- Act as the primary point-of-contact for the security system vendor and attend periodic meetings as required.
- Perform regular system health checks to ensure safe, stable, and efficient global operation of the security system.
- Execute application and system upgrades based on vendor recommendations to ensure the versions in use meet operational standards, enhance software capabilities, and develop system testing and validation procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or a related field.
- Experience in one or more programming languages, including scripting experience in Shell and Python, and SQL.
- Background in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed applications and systems, along with experience in database, operating systems, and server management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to proactively identify problems and promote continuous development and progress within related projects.
- Lenel physical security-related applications and systems certification/training.
