Position

The Senior Service Engineer will provide service and support for the company's products, which includes maintenance services, diagnostics, installation and commissioning, start-up, and problem resolution. This role acts as a focal point for customer technical support, including service contracts, projects, and technical solutions. The engineer will advise customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced maintenance tasks as per customer requirements.
  • Make recommendations on products or solutions, enhancements, and system health checks.
  • Lead service projects and ensure effective customer coordination.
  • Resolve complex technical issues and address customer disruptions, consulting with the company CSE (GSC and Product Engineering) as necessary.
  • Provide technical expertise for products and services to support customers and the company's teams.
  • Mentor Service Engineers and Technicians within the local team and lead service engineers as required.
  • Provide on-site customer instruction regarding the application, maintenance, and operation of the company's Process Management products.
  • Identify service/product opportunities and assist the sales process.
  • Promote service, start-up, and commissioning services, supporting the sales team as needed.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
  • Comply with all the company's business processes and documentation requirements.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies established by the organization.

Who You Are:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct others and make timely decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (control engineering, computer science, or electronics).
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of automation and control systems in process industries, typically with 6-8 years of experience in related areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate-level certification for all services performed on-site and a Professional-level certificate in at least one field of expertise.
  • Solid knowledge of the company's Process Management and its products.
  • A valid Driver’s License is preferred.
