Senior Service Engineer - Protection

As a Senior Service Engineer at the company, you will execute Service Level Agreement (SLA) Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Control and Protection systems for assignments classified as medium or high complexity. Your role includes efficiently managing all site activities in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the Service Engineering function during project and customer meetings.
• Contribute to the creation of project execution philosophy and plan.
• Implement project philosophy and plan while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct real-time risk and opportunity assessments during service activities.
• Report contract, quality, program, or cost issues to management with recommendations for resolution.
• Interface with customers and external providers for acceptance tests and issue closure.
• Prepare project and design documentation including schedules, test reports, and incident reports.
• Conduct modification, extension, and upgrade works, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Substation Control and Protection Systems for EHV, HV, and MV systems.
• Familiarity with protection philosophies, control and interlocking logics in substations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, IET, ITT, PCM, MiCOM, Digsi, and intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and manage technicians.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
