Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of project execution philosophy and plans.
- Support continuous improvement of project processes and provide feedback on design and system improvements.
- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during service engineering activities.
- Report contract, quality, program, or cost issues to management with recommendations for resolution.
- Interface with customers for approval of plant acceptance criteria and completion of acceptance tests.
- Prepare various project documentation in coordination with project leaders and managers.
- Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Actively develop and coach colleagues, fostering a network of engineering professionals.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with design and commissioning expertise.
- Thorough knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
- In-depth product knowledge of Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA and RTU systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, IET, ITT, PCM, MiCOM, Digsi, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity requirements and thorough understanding of control and interlocking logics in substations.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
