Position

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for executing SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Control and Protection systems for medium to high complexity assignments. You will manage site activities efficiently, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of project execution philosophy and plans.
  • Support continuous improvement of project processes and provide feedback on design and system improvements.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during service engineering activities.
  • Report contract, quality, program, or cost issues to management with recommendations for resolution.
  • Interface with customers for approval of plant acceptance criteria and completion of acceptance tests.
  • Prepare various project documentation in coordination with project leaders and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Actively develop and coach colleagues, fostering a network of engineering professionals.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with design and commissioning expertise.
  • Thorough knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
  • In-depth product knowledge of Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA and RTU systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, IET, ITT, PCM, MiCOM, Digsi, etc.
  • Intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity requirements and thorough understanding of control and interlocking logics in substations.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
