Senior Service Engineer - SCMS

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will execute SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Control and Protection systems for medium to high complexity assignments. Your role includes managing all site activities efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings and contribute to project execution planning.
• Implement changes in design and commissioning according to management processes.
• Support the tendering team in estimating service engineering activities and collaborate with other teams to solve complex problems.
• Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during service engineering activities for safe project implementation.
• Prepare project documentation such as schedules, site visit reports, and incident reports in coordination with the team leads and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines while fostering a culture of safety and integrity within the company.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 6 to 10 years of experience as a SCMS engineer with design and commissioning experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
• Experience with the company MicroSCADA, RTU systems, and IEDs.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, IET, ITT, and relevant engineering tools.
• Knowledge of control and interlocking logics in substations and intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity requirements.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
