We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Service Engineer – SCMS to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site role involves working independently in the Grid Automation field, offering opportunities for technical discussions with customers and travel across the country. The Senior Service Engineer will oversee SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Substation Automation systems for assignments classified as medium to high complexity.

Key responsibilities include:
- Representing the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings.
- Managing the implementation of project philosophy and plans.
- Supporting continuous improvement of project processes and systems.
- Conducting risk and opportunity assessments and identifying potential contract claims.
- Coordinating site activities for customer acceptance certification.
- Engaging with external organizations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Preparing project documentation and design documentation as per project requirements.
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SCMS systems.
Background Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- 6 to 10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with related systems and products.
- Knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and various communication protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, LON, SPA, Modbus, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of the company Micro SCADA and RTU systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, IET, ITT, PCM, Mincom, Digs, etc., and intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity requirements.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
