We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Service Engineer – SCMS to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Service Engineer, you will oversee the SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Substation Automation systems for assignments classified as medium or high complexity. Your responsibilities will include efficiently managing all site activities in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings.
  • Contribute to the creation of project execution philosophy and plan.
  • Manage implementation of project philosophy and plan.
  • Support continuous improvement of project processes and system design by providing lessons learned feedback.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to issue claims related to new scope, cost impact, and risk quantifications.
  • Create and manage work plans to deliver agreed programs on time and within budget.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during the execution of service engineering activities.
  • Prepare project documentation including schedules, incident reports, and design documentation.
  • Perform modification and upgrade works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, Modbus).
  • In-depth product knowledge of Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA and RTU systems.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with design and commissioning experience.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
