The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for executing SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Control and Protection systems for medium to high complexity assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings and contributing to project execution philosophy and planning.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of project processes and engineering design through feedback and claims management.
  • Implementing design changes and supporting tendering teams in estimating engineering activities.
  • Conducting real-time risk and opportunity assessments during project execution.
  • Managing external organizations that provide service engineering support, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Preparing project documentation, including schedules, reports, and design documents according to project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with a focus on design and commissioning of related systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and various communication protocols (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Experience with MS Office, Visio, IET, ITT, PCM, MiCOM, and Digsi is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of control logics and intermediate understanding of OT cybersecurity requirements.
