As a Senior Service Engineer, you will oversee SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Substation Automation systems for assignments classified as medium or high complexity. You will manage the completion of all site activities efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Service Engineering function at project and customer meetings.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of the project execution philosophy and plan.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in project processes, product, and system design by providing lessons learned feedback.
  • Assist Project Managers with claims related to new scope of work, cost impact, and risk quantifications.
  • Collaborate with other teams to solve complex problems and develop work plans for your area of responsibility.
  • Conduct real-time risk and opportunity assessments during service engineering activities.
  • Manage external organizations and ensure all required safety regulations and contractual requirements are satisfied.
  • Develop and coach colleagues while cultivating a network of engineering professionals.
  • Prepare essential project documentation, including schedules, reports, and design specifications.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, LON).
  • In-depth knowledge of the company MicroSCADA and RTU systems, as well as IEDs.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with design and commissioning experience in related systems.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
