Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in handling Telecom SDH Multiplexer, PDH Multiplexer, Wireless Router/Bridges, Switches, Routers, PABX Systems, and Network Management Products.
- Work as a Telecom engineer in PDH, SDH, Ethernet, and MPLS-TP technologies, collaborating with the tendering team to understand client specifications and propose technical solutions.
- Advise clients on maintenance and upgrades of existing installations.
- Deliver presentations and training on new products and solutions to both internal and external customers.
- Represent the Service Engineering function in project meetings and reviews; implement design changes and produce as-built documentation.
- Support continuous improvement of project processes and product/system design through feedback.
- Assist Project Managers in issuing claims and create work plans and cost estimates for assigned areas.
- Finalize customer acceptance certifications and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare project documentation including SAT reports, Incident reports, and RCA reports.
- Obtain necessary approvals from utilities/customers for Service Engineering activities of Telecom Systems.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Broad knowledge of HE systems and the technical environment.
- Knowledge and experience of third-party products and systems.
- Proactive coordination and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
