As a Senior Service Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for executing Service Level Agreement (SLA) programs, performing retrofit upgrades, extensions, and modifications of control and protection systems for medium to high complexity assignments. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Telecom SDH multiplexer, PDH multiplexer, wireless routers/bridges, switches, routers, PABX systems, and network management products.
- Collaborate with the tendering team to understand client specifications related to telecommunication products and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Advise clients on the maintenance and upgrades of existing systems, provide presentations and training on new products/solutions, and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Represent the Service Engineering function at project meetings and design reviews, implement design changes, and create project documentation.
- Support project managers by issuing claims related to new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, and risk quantifications.
- Create work plans and cost estimates within your area of responsibility, and ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Perform site activities to finalize customer acceptance certifications and maintain professional interactions with clients.
- Coach Associate Service Engineers and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
- Prepare essential project documentation such as SAT reports, incident reports, and root cause analysis reports, and obtain necessary approvals for telecom system activities.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Broad knowledge of the company systems and the technical environment.
- Knowledge and experience with third-party products and systems.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
