Senior Service Engineer - Telecom

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will execute SLA Programs, Retrofit Upgradations, Extensions, and Modifications of Control and Protection systems for medium to high complexity assignments. Your responsibilities will include managing all site activities efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Proficiently handle Telecom SDH Multiplexer, PDH Multiplexer, Wireless Router/Bridges, Switches, Routers, PABX Systems, and Network Management Products.
• Work as a Telecom engineer in PDH, SDH, Ethernet, and MPLS-TP technologies, collaborating with the tendering team to understand end client specifications related to telecommunication products and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Advise clients on maintenance and upgrade of the existing installed base.
• Deliver presentations and training on new products/solutions to internal and external customers, and conduct POCs.
• Represent the Service Engineering function at project and design review meetings, implementing design changes as needed.
• Support Project Managers by issuing claims, creating work plans, and developing cost estimates to deliver projects on time, on quality, and at targeted cost.
• Finalize customer acceptance certification during site activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Broad knowledge of Hitachi Energy systems and technical environment.
• Knowledge and experience with third-party products and systems.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English language is required.
