Job Description:

  • Lead incident response and postmortems, drive investigations, document learnings, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes environments, including cluster configurations and security best practices.
  • Build observability systems, and develop dashboards, alerts, and metrics using tools like Dynatrace, Honeycomb, ElasticSearch, Grafana/Kibana, and Azure Monitor (KQL).
  • Automate for resilience, writing reliable scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or C#.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code, designing and maintaining Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Optimize system performance and identify bottlenecks through monitoring and resource right-sizing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate reliability principles into CI/CD pipelines and the broader SDLC.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and lead during critical incidents.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles with experience in large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Strong expertise in Azure and Kubernetes (production-level experience required).
  • Proven ability in observability engineering with tools such as Dynatrace, Honeycomb, Elastic, and Azure Monitor.
  • Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or C# and able to adopt an automation-first mindset.
  • Experienced with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, and performance tuning.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights.
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
